Bosworth is an international boarding/day college with over 300 students aged 13 to 19 years, set in a campus style environment.

Its unique and diverse nationality mix mean Bosworth students regularly find themselves working alongside classmates of different cultural, social and religious backgrounds. This ensures that they leave the college as well rounded individuals with an excellent opportunity to succeed in the wider world.

Established in 1977 as a small tutorial college, today Bosworth is a leading independent boarding college in the UK. Our excellent academic results, established university links and caring and supportive ethos have resulted in an enviable reputation. Teaching at all levels is characterised by enthusiasm and passion and we pride ourselves on being a non-selective college with a proven record, both locally and overseas, for raising students’ aspirations.

Bosworth has over 300 students with each one looking forward to fulfilling their individual academic potential. They then leave College as well-rounded individuals with an excellent opportunity to succeed in the wider world. Providing academic programmes for ages 13-19, Bosworth ensures a customised timetable is in place for each and every student. There are very few restrictions on subject combinations at GCSE and A-level and, with average class sizes of eight each student gets the individual attention they require to reach their academic potential. As the College builds on its successful past, it looks forward to the future educating British, European and international students within its culture of achievement.

School Fees

Domestic & EU/EEA Fees 2018-2019

The fees below are applicable to applicants who are permanent residents in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

Incidental costs include: books, stationery, school trips (optional). Students spend approximately £150 per term on incidental costs, all of which are invoiced at the end of each term along with any subject supplement and single room charges. Exam fees are invoiced separately to reflect examination board charges. Individual tuition can be arranged where required at £45 per lesson. Applicants applying for the above fees must be able to prove permanent residence for the past three consecutive years. Applicants from Northampton can also apply for our domestic scholarships and bursary concessions, please contact the college for further details. If English is your second language, English Language support (EFL) is available.

  • Incidental costs include: airport transfers, books, stationery, UCAS support, storage, school trips (optional). Students spend approximately £400 per term on incidental costs, all of which are invoiced at the end of each term along with any subject supplement and single room charges.
  • Exam fees are invoiced separately to reflect examination board charges.
  • Additional EFL lessons or IELTS preparation can be arranged for A2 students at the cost of £500 per term.
  • Individual tuition can be arranged where required at £45 per lesson.
  • Laundry facilities are available in all of our supervised boarding houses and at Bosworth Hall at £60 per year.
  • Accommodation fees include: full-time boarding supervision, all meals, cleaning of rooms, provision and laundry of college owned bed linen.
  • If an exam is scheduled after the end of term, accommodation will be provided but will be charged additionally at £35 a night to include breakfast and at least one hot meal each day.
